Korean Egg Over Rice (Gyeran Bap)

Gyeran Bap is one of my favorite meals growing up. Rather I need something quick and easy or I need something to comfort me, this is the meal I make!

Ingredients

  • 1 bowl Freshly Cooked Rice Freshly cooked
  • 1 Sunny Side Up Eggs

Gochujang Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Gochujang (Red Pepper Paste)
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil

Soy Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Garnish (Optional)

  • Scallions
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Seaweed Paper

Instructions

  • Place freshly cooked rice in a bowl.
  • Top with gochujang and sesame oil OR soy sauce, sesame oil, and butter.
  • Place egg on top.
  • Garnish with scallions, seaweed paper, and sesame seeds.
  • Mix thoroughly and enjoy!
