Korean Sausage Stir Fry

Korean Sausage Stir Fry is a side dish that will turn sausage into a healthy & delicious dish! It has a sweet and spicy sauce you and your kids will love!

Equipment

  • Sharp Knife

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Vegetable or Canola Oil For stir frying
  • 200 grams Hotdog Chopped diagonally

A total of 200 grams of vegetables combined

  • Yellow Peppers Chopped in triangular shapes
  • Green Peppers Chopped in triangular shapes
  • Carrots Chopped in flower shapes 
  • White Onion Chopped in big chunks 

Stir Fry Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Gochujang or Red Pepper Paste
  • 1 tbsp Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Corn Syrup
  • 1/2 tbsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  • Chop up the hotdogs and vegetables, then set aside. 
  • Line up the sauce ingredients. Make sure everything is prepared before starting to stir fry. 
  • In high heat, put oil in the pan, and stir fry the hotdogs until it is lightly browned. 
  • Add the onions and carrots since they take longer to cook, and stir fry for a couple of minutes. 
  • Add the peppers and stir fry again for another two minutes.
  • In the pan, place the sauce ingredients then mix with the hotdog and vegetables thoroughly. 
  • Make sure everything is coated with the sauce and the vegetables are cooked through but not yet soggy. 
  • Plate, garnish with more sesame seeds, serve with rice, and enjoy!
