Prepare the ingredients by chopping garlic, onion, scallions, and jalapeño peppers.
Pat the tofu dry and slice it into 1/2 inch thick rectangles.
Place the pan on high heat, add oil, and pan-fry the tofu for 3-5 minutes on each side or until brown and crispy.
In a bowl, combine onion, scallions, jalapeño, soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, mirin, sugar, gochugaru, black pepper, and water. Mix this well.
Once the tofu is crisp on both sides, add the sauce and braise it for 3-5 minutes until it has reduced.
Plate the tofu, drizzle all the sauce on top, garnish it with sesame seeds, serve, and enjoy!
