These homemade fruit popsicles are so easy to make, very customizable according to your preference, and so healthy you’ll finish them guilt-free! It’s a great summer treat for your family!
Honestly, my wife and I eat a lot of ice cream. However, since our son came, we’ve been wanting to stay healthy for him. The thing is, when you crave ice cream, there’s no way to stop it. So, we’ve been looking for a healthy alternative to get over our cravings.
For this healthy fruit popsicle recipe, you’ll only need 5 ingredients, a blender, and a mold then you’re good to go! The puree or juice from blending the fruit is already good to go for a drink, just like this Watermelon Juice. To kick it up a notch, freezing them will give you a great treat for those hot summer days!
How do you make GOOD fruit popsicles?
Fruits: You can actually use any fruit that you like such as Mango, Mixed Berries, Watermelon, Peach, Pineapple, Kiwi, Banana, or even a combination of any of these fruits! Just make sure to fill the 2.5 cups of chopped fruit before pureeing it.
Greek Yogurt or Apple Juice: These are important ingredients to make the fruit puree better and help make the popsicle creamy. If you don’t have any of these ingredients, you can also use coconut water as a substitute.
Honey: One of the things I love about this recipe is that it uses natural sweeteners. It really pairs perfectly with the fruits. I think adding 3 tablespoons of honey is a good amount. However, if your fruits are slightly bland, sour, or too sweet, feel free to add more or less than what I recommend. Always taste before putting them in the mold so you can adjust. If it tastes a LITTLE bit on the sweeter side, don’t worry because it’ll even out after freezing.
Lemon Juice: You’re probably wondering why we need lemon juice. Lemon juice will keep the popsicle from fully freezing so it won’t be a block of frozen ice.

For this very easy recipe, all you need is a blender and an ice cream mold. Puree, transfer, freeze, and wait. The ice cream mold I got was so easy to use since it comes with a cleaner, a funnel, extra popsicle sticks, and ice cream bags.
When it’s time to take the fruit pops out, all you have to do is thaw it out for one minute, push from the bottom, and pull from the stick to release. The silicone allows it to slide right off. Afterward, you can place it in the bags that come with the mold so you can store leftovers or reuse the mold for another batch.
You can store any leftovers for about a month, but honestly, these were so good my wife and I downed at least 7 pops before I even got to finish filming. Right after they were gone, I went ahead and made another batch! Kakaka~
Bonus tip from wifey: If you’re making this for yourselves and not for the kids, you can use your cocktail recipes and freeze them up in the mold to make a treat with a kick!
